As a non-profit organisation the proceeds from our Cafe go straight back into the community. We assist and contribute to local initiatives such as Woman's refuge, Red Cross, and our former Refugees.
Talk to the team about our Pay It Forward initiative that helps to provide meals for organisations such as True Colours and The Serve.

MEET THE TEAM
JoshJosh is our enthusiastic manager who loves food, coffee, and connecting with people. Outside of work, he enjoys hobbies like music and photography, often preforming in little bands and capturing everlasting moments with his camera. When he gets a holiday you’ll likely find him in the middle of no-where enjoying nature
EllenEl is a passionate student, currently studying Philosophy and History at the University of Waikato. Despite growing up in Belgium, she is a kiwi girl at heart! Her love for dogs and the great outdoors fuels her desire to get outside and find new adventures, often exploring new places with her beloved Doberman, Senna, by her side.
BerniceBernice is our OG baker, with a passion for creating delicious sweet and savoury items that are visually appealing and of the highest quality. Also passionate about people, you will sometimes find her escaping the kitchen to serve you at the counter. When she’s not at Agora she volunteers with new immigrants helping them find their place in NZ. Alternatively she’s creating beautiful inedibles from fluffy wool and silk, as Heartfelt Bernice.
